JTI honors Regie employees following audit praising quality, health, safety and organizational standards

Japan Tobacco International (JTI) honored on Thursday the Regie’s chairman and general manager, Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, as well as several employees, at the Regie’s Hadat headquarters, in recognition of their efforts during the audit conducted by the company at the Regie’s tobacco product warehouses in February.
JTI praised the high level of professionalism, transparency and organization, as well as the compliance with preservation and storage requirements and the implementation of quality, health and safety protocols in warehouse management, reflecting the Regie’s commitment to internationally recognized operational and administrative standards.
Commemorative shields were presented to employees Hassan Sbeiti, Amir Issa and Bassel al-Ali by JTI’s general manager in Lebanon, Mohamad Jaber, in the presence of the company’s sales director, Faisal al-Ansari.
For the Regie, this recognition is considered a positive reflection of the institution’s image and a factor strengthening the trust in its strategic partnerships with international companies. It also confirms the Regie’s success in fostering a culture of quality, health and safety and in implementing international standards across its various operational facilities.
The Regie also praised the pivotal role played by the Quality, Health and Safety team in developing the work environment and implementing ISO systems and standards, which contributed to the audit’s success and to achieving positive results reflecting a high level of professional preparedness and effective cooperation with foreign companies.
