Regie seizes smuggled and counterfeit products in Achrafieh, Mar Elias, Mazraa, Chiyah and Ouzai

The Anti-Trafficking Unit of the Regie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs seized large quantities of smuggled and counterfeit molasses (mu’assal), as well as smuggled cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and Ajami tobacco.

These seizures were the result of raids in Achrafieh, Mar Elias, Mazraa, Chiyah and Ouzai, and were conducted as part of the Regie’s ongoing efforts to combat the smuggling and counterfeiting of tobacco products.

Seizure reports were filed against the violators and sent to the competent judicial authorities for further action.
