The Chairman and General Manager of the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco and Tombacs (Regie), Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, received at his office on Thursday, October 1, 2026, a delegation from the Municipality of Ramiya in the Bint Jbeil District, comprising Municipal Council President Abbas Issa and members of the council.
Seklaoui and the delegation discussed ways to facilitate matters for Ramiya’s tobacco farmers who have been displaced from their land, given that Ramiya is an agricultural village where hundreds of families were displaced during the war.
The delegation thanked the Regie for its efforts to develop tobacco cultivation and support farmers.
