The Chairman and General Manager of the Lebanese Tobacco and Tombacs Monopoly (Régie), Engineer Nassif Seklaoui, received today, Thursday, at his office in Hadath, the Electrical Section team of the Central Equipment Maintenance Department, comprising Chafic Barbari, Samir Chamas and Rami Al-Sebaaly, in addition to Engineer Milad Minari.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Central Equipment Maintenance Department, Engineer Paul Ghnaymeh, and the Head of the Central Equipment Maintenance Office, Engineer Ola Al-Sebaaly.
Seklaoui praised the team’s efforts in carrying out maintenance works and commended the new freight elevators installed at the Fabrication 1 factory, which now comply with international standards in terms of durability, quality and public safety.
The project was awarded through a transparent tender process, in accordance with the Régie’s established administrative procedures and regulations.
Engineer Ghnaymeh also briefed the General Manager on the Maintenance Directorate’s upcoming projects, most notably the installation of solar energy systems at the Batroun facility and in the parking area of the administrative building at the Hadath facility. The projects also include completing the replacement of elevators at the Hadath and Metn facilities, as well as the rehabilitation of the metal canteen.
This recognition comes as part of the Régie’s efforts to continuously motivate its teams to achieve their best, strengthen their sense of belonging to the institution, and acknowledge their contributions to developing maintenance operations and enhancing the quality of services.
