The Regie’s chairman and general manager, Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, met with the team behind the “Ento al-Sanad” (“You are the support”) initiative, commending its humanitarian efforts during the 2026 war. This initiative, originally launched in 2024 to provide relief to employees and families affected by the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, was resumed during the most recent war.
Seklaoui said that the team members were the unsung heroes of the war, working quietly, sincerely and selflessly, free from any political or sectarian considerations.
He stressed that they played a vital role in supporting displaced families and alleviating their suffering, embodying the highest values of solidarity and social responsibility.
Their work also reflected the Regie’s unwavering commitment to helping people in times of crisis and its belief that doing so is both a national and humanitarian duty.
During the meeting, Seklaoui was briefed on the results of the initiative, which has been ongoing for four months.
“Ento al-Sanad” has supported hundreds of families by providing food parcels, mattresses, pillows and blankets, as well as large quantities of medication for patients. It has also facilitated financial assistance for families in need through individual contributions.
