Regie seizes smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products in Tariq al-Jdideh, Mazraa, Khaldeh and Dohat al-Hoss

The Anti-Trafficking Unit of the Regie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs seized large quantities of smuggled and counterfeit molasses (mu’assal), as well as smuggled cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigarillos and Ajami tobacco.

These seizures, carried out as part of the Regie’s ongoing efforts to combat the smuggling and counterfeiting of tobacco products, were the result of raids in Al-Dana (Tariq al-Jdideh), Mazraa, Khaldeh and Dohat al-Hoss.

Seizure reports were filed against the violators and sent to the competent judicial authorities for further action.
