Regie seizes smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products in Burj Hammoud, Nabaa, Sabtieh and Dora

The Anti-Trafficking Unit of the Regie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs seized large quantities of smuggled and counterfeit molasses (mu’assal), as well as smuggled cigarettes, electronic cigarettes and Lebanese tunbac.

These seizures were the result of raids in Burj Hammoud, Nabaa, Sabtieh and Dora, and were carried out as part of the Regie’s ongoing efforts to combat the smuggling and counterfeiting of tobacco products.

Seizure reports were filed against the violators and sent to the competent judicial authorities for further action.
