Regie to begin receiving northern Lebanon crops on September 24 and Bekaa crops in January 2026

The Regie announced on Thursday that it will begin receiving crops from northern Lebanon farmers on September 24.

In a statement, it explained that the collection process will take place at three purchasing centers in the Regie’s Tripoli branch, as has been the practice in previous years.

The Regie also said that the collection date in the Bekaa has been scheduled for mid-January 2026, with further details to be communicated at a later date.

It added that this timing was chosen in consideration of the weather conditions, to ensure farmers can adequately prepare their crops for delivery.

On Wednesday, the purchasing process was launched in southern Lebanon, in the towns of Nabatieh, Seddiqin, Srifa, Touline and Rmeish, with the Tebnin warehouse scheduled to open in two weeks.
