Regie participates in “Made in Lebanon” exhibition for the first time

The Lebanese Regie for Tobacco announced that it will be participating for the first time in the “Made in Lebanon” exhibition, scheduled to take place from May 15 to 19. Through this event, it aims “to shed light on one of the most important and successful models of efficiency and quality in the Lebanese public sector, at a time when Lebanese people are yearning for public institutions that live up to their expectations and ambitions.”

In a statement, the Regie explained that its participation coincides with the 90th anniversary of its founding and offers an opportunity to showcase its “pivotal role in the country’s economy, particularly in the industrial and agricultural sectors.” The Regie also mentioned that it ranks fifth among Lebanon’s main sources of revenue, having contributed $366 million to the public treasury in 2024 alone.

Visitors to the Regie’s pavilion will have the opportunity to enjoy a field experience using VR technology, allowing them to tour the Hadat factory, learn about the latest manufacturing techniques and witness the advanced level achieved by the national industry.

According to the statement, the Regie will take part in the exhibition under its new visual identity, “which reflects its modernity and underscores its progress toward industrial modernization and its adoption of cutting-edge operational and management systems. These efforts have enabled it to obtain prestigious quality certifications from reputable international institutions, reaffirming its commitment to the highest global standards.”

In the statement, the Regie calls on all Lebanese to visit its pavilion at the exhibition, which will be held at the Forum de Beyrouth from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and invites them “to discover one of the country’s leading public institutions, that constitutes a pillar of the national economy and an example to follow for the development the Lebanese public sector.”
