Poet Abdullah Barakat Dedicates First Copy of His Poetry Collection to Engineer Seklaoui

The poet Abdullah Barakat, from the town of Zabqin, one of the most important tobacco-growing villages, presented his poetry collection titled “Testimony and Survival” to Engineer Nassif Seklaoui, President and Director General of the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco. This gesture was made in appreciation of the Regie’s significant  national role.

Poet Abdullah expressed his honor in presenting the first copy of his poetry collection to Engineer Seklaoui acknowledging his continuous support for farmers and tobacco cultivation, especially during the challenging conditions of war in southern Lebanon.

In return, Seklaoui thanked Barakat and praised him as a poet who has practiced growing tobacco and continues to do so.
