As part of its commitment to strengthening social responsibility, and in line with the principles of ISO 26000, the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco organized a seven-day specialized workshop throughout May and June, with the participation of employees from various departments and directorates.
The workshop, conducted by Mohammad al-Yaman, focused on concepts such as good governance, human rights, labor practices, the environment, fair practices, consumer responsibility and community engagement.
The training aimed to raise employees’ awareness of the importance of integrating sustainability into the Regie’s operations and fostering a culture rooted in ethics, transparency and responsibility toward society and the environment.
