Regie supports drug awareness activity organized by DELTA at the Shouf Reserve

La Regie Libanaise Des Tabacs Et Tombacs (Regie) announced that it had offered a financial assistance to support an activity entitled “Hike and climb against drugs” scheduled on Sunday at the Shouf Reserve by the Lebanese Association for Development, Education and Training (DELTA), an association committed to the development of the youths and that is active in the field of drug awareness campaigns.

This initiative is held on the occasion of the International Day against Drugs, in cooperation with the Ministries of Education and Higher Education, Social Affairs, Youths and Sports, and Public Health, as well as the Lebanese University, the Lebanese American University, the American University of Beirut, and specialized organizations amongst them the Shouf Biosphere Reserve, Skoun Addiction Center, Oum El Nour Rehabilitation Center, and Mentor Arabia.

It is worth noting that this initiative aims at raising awareness against drugs and addiction and it also aims at orienting the youths towards activities that help them release all their energy and build up their capacities, especially sports activities, in order to build a healthy, drug-free society.
