Regie Among the First Public Institutions to Complete Asset Revaluation

The Lebanese Tobacco and Tombacs Regie (Regie) announced the completion of the exceptional revaluation of its inventory and fixed assets, with the assistance of UTC International, its external statutory auditor, in accordance with Law No. 330 dated December 4, 2024.

This significant step reflects Regie’s commitment to updating its financial records in line with accounting best practices and enhancing transparency in the management of its assets and holdings.

With this achievement, Regie becomes one of the first public institutions in Lebanon to incorporate the results of the revaluation into its financial statements as of December 31, 2025, further strengthening their accuracy and reliability.

It is worth noting that Regie’s financial accounts are audited annually by an external statutory auditor, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and sound governance principles.
