“Regie” Seizes Smuggled and Counterfeit Tobacco Products in Hermel, Al-Qasr, Al-Ain and Shmestar

The Lebanese Regie for Tobacco and Tombacs (Regie) announced that its Anti-Smuggling Unit seized quantities of smuggled electronic cigarettes, counterfeit molasses tobacco, and smuggled and counterfeit cigarettes, following raids carried out in Hermel, Al-Qasr, Al-Ain and Shmestar.

Regie reiterated that these raids are part of its ongoing efforts to combat smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products, adding that violation reports were issued against the offenders and referred to the competent judiciary.
