The municipality of Sour launched a mosquito-control campaign across the city and its suburbs on Friday, July 17, in coordination with the Regie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs.
Municipal Council Member Eng. Hisham Gharib said the campaign “will continue for several days” and will be carried out using a truck fitted with special spray equipment, adding that the Regie had provided all the necessary supplies.
He explained that this initiative aims to combat the sharp increase in the mosquito population following the Israeli war against Lebanon.
