A delegation from the Regie's Union of Employees and Workers, comprising its president Hossam Shreif and members Mona Barrak, Rima Abi Oula and Wissam Husseini, attended a seminar on the “right to healthcare for all.”
The event, hosted by Public Services International (PSI) at the General Confederation of Lebanese Workers, brought together Public Health Minister Dr. Rakan Nassereddine, Labor Minister Dr. Mohammad Haidar, and Social Affairs Minister Dr. Haneen Sayed.
Also present were the president of the Parliamentary Committee on Health, Labor and Social Affairs, Dr. Bilal Abdallah, the head of the Parliament’s National Economy, Trade, Industry and Planning Committee, Dr. Farid Boustany, the president of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, Charles Arbid, as well as representatives of international organizations and prominent figures from trade unions and the economic, social and health sectors.
