Seklaoui meets with delegation from Rmeish municipality, discusses support for residents and tobacco farmers

The Regie’s chairman and general manager, Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, met in his Hadat office with a delegation from Rmeish municipality, comprising Mayor Hanna al-Amil and several municipal council members.

During the meeting, Al-Amil commended the Regie’s efforts to support the town’s tobacco farmers and closely monitor their situation, particularly as Rmeish remains the only border town to have continued tobacco cultivation during the current season.

The discussions also focused on ways to strengthen cooperation between the Regie and the municipality in order to support the town’s residents and encourage them to remain on their land.
