Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met on Wednesday with the Regie’s chairman and general manager, Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, who was heading a delegation from the Board of Directors.
According to a statement issued by the Regie, the delegation presented Berri with the first copy of a documentary book titled Ninety, which recounts the institution’s journey from its establishment in 1935 up to 2025.
The book will be officially launched next week during a ceremony held under his patronage on the occasion of the Regie’s 90th anniversary.
The delegation also briefed the parliament speaker on the Regie’s key achievements in recent years, particularly on the financial projections for 2025.
This year, total revenues are expected to increase by 20% compared to 2024, which reflects the institution’s continued growth and the effectiveness of its policies.
Berri praised the Regie’s outstanding performance and highlighted its pivotal role in supporting the national economy and providing the state treasury with revenues, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the same approach in order to establish a successful institutional model within the Lebanese public sector.
