The Regie’s chairman and general manager, Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, accompanied by a team from the Maintenance Department and the General Directorate, inspected on Friday the hybrid power plant located at the Regie’s headquarters in Hadat.
Seklaoui praised the efforts of all those who contributed to the project, expressing his satisfaction that it has reached its “finishing touches” stage ahead of its inauguration at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 21, under the patronage and in the presence of Finance Minister Yassine Jaber.
He explained that this power plant is a “strategic project,” as it significantly increases the Regie’s reliance on renewable solar energy for consumption, thereby significantly reducing operating costs and increasing financial savings.
