Regie announces completion of crop collection process in southern and northern Lebanon
The Regie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs announced that it has completed the collection of tobacco and tunbac crops from farmers in southern and northern Lebanon, confirming that the purchasing process, which was launched in these two regions on September 10 and October 1 respectively, “was conducted in an organized and smooth manner.”
In a statement, the Regie said that “farmers were satisfied with the process and with how efficiently it was carried out. They commended the Regie’s efforts and its support to them during and following the recent Israeli war on Lebanon, praising its role in enabling them to sustain their work, under the guidance of Chairman and General Manager Eng. Nassif Seklaoui.”
