Regie conducts raids in Brital and Baalbek, seizes smuggled tobacco products and counterfeit molasses workshop

The Anti-Trafficking Unit of the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco seized large quantities of smuggled and counterfeit molasses (mu’assal) and smuggled cigarettes. The operation also uncovered a workshop fully equipped for counterfeit molasses production. These seizures were the result of raids in Brital and Baalbek, in the Bekaa region.
Seizure reports were filed against the violators and sent to the competent judicial authorities for further action.
