Ten years after the launch of its sustainable development strategy, as part of its commitment to strengthening social responsibility, and in line with the principles of ISO 26000, the Lebanese Regie for Tobacco organized a seven-day specialized workshop during the months of May and June.
Regie employees from various departments and directorates participated in this workshop, which was conducted by Mohammad al-Yaman.
It addressed core pillars of sustainability, such as good governance, human rights, labor practices, the environment, fair operating practices, consumer responsibility and community engagement.
The workshop aimed to launch the update of the Regie’s sustainable development strategy, in line with recent developments, and reflect the institution’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
