The Lebanese Regie for Tobacco announced the launch of rehabilitation works on a section of the Sour Public Garden, carried out “with the generous contribution of Japan Tobacco International (JTI) and in collaboration with the Sour Municipality.”
In a statement, the Regie explained that “this initiative falls within its projects and vision to promote green spaces and improve public infrastructure, thereby creating a more pleasant environment for the city’s residents and visitors.”
The statement noted that “the initiative was well received by the residents of Sour, many of whom expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Regie, to its chairman and general manager Eng. Nassif Seklawi, as well as to JTI and the municipality, praising the efforts made to advance the city and strengthen community life.”
