The Lebanese Regie for Tobacco is currently holding a series of training sessions as part of its implementation of the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety standard.
This year, the Regie launched advanced first-aid training sessions, in collaboration with the Lebanese Red Cross. These sessions, tailored for the Regie’s emergency response team, aim to equip members with the skills and techniques necessary for swift and effective response to critical injuries and serious incidents.
The training focuses on advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, ways of dealing with severe bleeding, fractures, and unconsciousness, the evacuation of injured individuals from hazardous areas, the use of automated external defibrillators (AED), and the accurate assessment of medical emergencies.
This intensive training is designed to ensure that specialized teams are fully prepared to intervene promptly and efficiently, minimizing complications resulting from accidents in the workplace.
