The Regie’s chairman and general manager, Eng. Nassif Seklawi, received the president of the Tadamon Sour club, Dr. Jihad Kandil, in his office at the institution’s headquarters.
In a statement, the Regie said that Seklawi and Kandil discussed “Tadamon Sour’s recent achievements, including its historic rise to the top six of the Lebanese Premier League.
Tadamon competed against the country’s best clubs and achieved great results, despite being based in a region that was at the heart of the recent war.”
According to the statement, Seklawi was briefed on the “qualitative shift in the club’s management as well as the club’s institutional vision, introduced under Kandil’s leadership — a vision that has significantly contributed to the club’s achievements.”
The meeting also touched on “Tadamon’s active social role during and after the war, stemming from its belief that sports are a fundamental pillar in human development,” the statement added.
After touring the Regie’s factory, Kandil described the institution as “one of the finest state institutions, both in form and substance,” noting that “institutional practices are clearly being implemented.”
