Seklaoui issues directives to safeguard Bekaa tobacco farmers’s rights and adhere to highest purchasing standards for 2025 season’s crops

On Tuesday, the Regie’s chairman and general manager, Eng. Nassif Seklaoui, held a meeting with purchasing experts during which he issued directives regarding the purchasing process for the 2025 season’s tobacco crops in the Bekaa.

Held in the presence of the heads of the Agriculture and Leaf Tobacco Directorates, the meeting focused on the importance of safeguarding farmers’ rights and protecting their interests, while ensuring fairness and strictly adhering to the highest approved purchasing standards.

ad of Agriculture Department in Northern Lebanon, Eng. Mohamad Kabbara; Head of Tobacco Technology Department, Eng. Wassim Toros; and Head of Bekaa Agriculture Office, Hossam Sharif. Eng. Daoud Daoud, from the Experts’ Office, and experts Jamal al-Shiyah and Firas Zaayter were also in attendance.
