The Anti-Trafficking Unit of the Regie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs carried out raids on warehouses used to store smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products, as part of its efforts to combat such illegal activities.
These raids resulted in the seizure of large quantities of smuggled and counterfeit molasses (mu’assal), as well as smuggled cigarettes.
