After conducting a raid in the Jamous area, in Beirut’s southern suburbs, the Anti-Trafficking Unit of the Regie Libanaise des Tabacs et Tombacs seized large quantities of counterfeit molasses (mu’assal), produced manually with the aim of deceiving consumers and generating significant profits. These products also bore counterfeit labels.
A seizure report was filed against the violator and sent to the competent judicial authorities for further action.
